Project background:
In the complex port environment, traditional communication solutions (such as Wi-Fi) have some common problems, such as difficult deployment, long network construction period, high delay, unreliable network and so on. EUHT-5G technology has the characteristics of high reliability, low delay, high bandwidth, high reliability, large capacity, flexible networking and convenient laying, which provides a new solution for communication of port automation equipment and injects new impetus to the construction of "smart port".
Project details:
In May 2020, a large container company in Xiamen port carries out the pilot application of EUHT-5G network. The pilot area is covered by EUHT-5G network to realize the innovative application pilot of real-time return of high-definition video of rubber tired gantry crane and bridge crane, real-time return of high-definition video of internal truck, visual management of operation track and remote control of bridge crane.
Based on the results of this pilot application, the next step is to gradually integrate EUHT-5G technology into the full intelligent upgrading of the whole terminal, realize the scale application of high-definition video return and remote control of gantry crane and bridge crane, and realize the scale application of truck automatic driving combined with vehicle road cooperation and high-precision positioning.
